Job Description

A new opportunity has become available for a Project Co-ordinator to join our busy Projects team based at our Houston facility.


As a Project Co-ordinator, the purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to project and service managers. This position plays a critical role within the organization to ensure the project workflow runs smoothly and efficiently.


As a Project Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for the following:


  • Track assigned project status from beginning to end
  • Maintain logs of activities and completed work
  • Support service or project team by providing administrative support as requested
  • Communicates project status with project/service managers and operations to support project timelines
  • Enters project contract data accurately into project tracking system, excel or other required software
  • Manage filing systems by recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining documents
  • Participates in project status meetings
  • Coordinate with internal supply chain at direction of project/service managers to ensure visibility on project status and timeline expectations
  • Works collaboratively as part of a team that serves as backup to the project/service managers or other coordinators to ensure projects meet timelines
  • Complete internal audits, supports collection of contract documentation for project/service managers, reviews contract setup on Visual to ensure accuracy to signed project
  • Assists with phone calls or emails from customers, other departments, suppliers etc. to ensure information is being communicated to all that need to know regarding project status
  • Support the standards, expectations, guidelines, and culture to achieve an incident and injury free operation in alignment with JDR’s Th!nk Safety principles
  • Supports and participates in the organization’s Continuous Improvement Program to conform to ISO 9001 requirements by complying with Quality policies and procedures and meeting Quality objectives
  • Provide support to ensure that each product is manufactured in accordance with customer, regulatory, and company requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity you will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and be confident and competent in the use of MS Office. You will possess strong time Management skills, be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks, managing one’s own time and the time of others. In addition, you will have the ability to be self-directed, as well as working productively in groups. The post requires analytical thinking, by processing information and using logic to address work-related issues and problems.
